In addition, the Protek Team has completed over 100 projects for public sector clients, which consisted of on-premises systems, cloud-based services and hybrid solutions.
Specifically, in the area of Transportation, we have created a hyperscaled, microservice-based transaction engine that can process current NY E-ZPass files plaza through a validation, rules engine and payment posting pipeline. Using the simplest configuration, the system can process a file with 500,000 transactions in about 90 seconds. This can be scaled further as necessary or can be elastic to accommodate spikes in load in real-time without loss of performance. The system can handle batch files to accommodate legacy plazas like NY as well as support singular transactions from newer plazas, such as SunPass. We had originally built it to be Cloud agnostic but have since ported it to GCP to use more native services, including GKE, pub/sub, memorystore, FireStore, among others.
As a Microsoft partner , our Cloud practice has been helping Enterprises and Government organizations adopt modern technologies to scale, secure and innovate new services for years. Our Technical resources are industry thought leaders with real insight to the challenges of today’s largest organizations and understand how technology can make an impact every day. We delivered many MS projects in the city and state which includes desktop planning, image engineering, and remediation following Microsoft’s Desktop Optimization engagement methodology.
