Founded in 1994, EKLA has been certified as a wholly minority-and woman-owned business since 1998 and is among the country's longest-surviving Black-owned and woman-run firms. The firm’s work is mission-driven: since its inception, EKLA has helped clients preserve, develop, adapt, re-imagine, and create vibrant, sustainable, and communally resonant open spaces.
