Meltek’s service can be made available to any utility customer who has a smart meter (also known as Advanced Metering Infrastructure, or “AMI”), as most residents and businesses in New York State do, and as does over 50% of the US, with more smart meters being installed each year. Meltek started in 2020, launched our initial product at the end of 2021, and first participated in Con Edison’s programs in 2022. Now, in 2023, we operate as well in PSEG Long Island and Orange & Rockland Utilities territories. We are prepared to expand across much of New York State in 2024 and are in discussions with utilities in New Jersey and Colorado. |
